| Long Beach Lodge Wins Martini Migration |

 Brett Mullins, Kim Hamm and Liam Paul, all of the Long Beach Lodge Resort, won first place in the Pacific Rim Whale Festivals Martini Migration Wednesday night in Tofino. Shelter Restaurant placed second. Long Beach Lodge also took home the top prize for the best martini booth. The Spotted Bear Bistro won for the most original martini. Patrick the Starfish was the best-dressed male. Holly McPhail was the best-dressed female.  Father Scott Whittemore, of Ucluelet, uses a water soaker to bless the whale watching and fishing fleet as well as government vessels on Tofinos First Street Dock Wednesday morning.  John de Vries, of Tourism Ucluelet, and Sarah Timberlake, of Tourism Tofino, were working together at the B.C. Boat and Sportsmens Show in Abbotsford this past weekend. It was great exposure for our communities with rack cards, maps, posters, bags, pens and DVDs on display
